T&Cs and Privacy Policy

By registering for a class, you agree to be bound by all provisions in this Agreement at the time of your acceptance.​

This Agreement may be updated at any time. It is your responsibility to review the most recent version of this Agreement when purchasing event participation services and to remain informed of any changes.

1. Cancellation and Refund Policy

  • If Slow Rise Pizza cancels a class due to low enrollment, bad weather or other extenuating circumstances, all participants will receive a full refund.
  • For cancellations please email us at classes@slowrisepizza.com
  • All in-person, on-site class cancellations require a 24 hour notice from the time of the scheduled class for full refund or credit
  • If you cancel less than 24 hours before the scheduled event Slow Rise Pizza will not issue any refund. Slow Rise Pizza cannot provide refunds, credits or transfers for events missed as a result of illness, job loss, personal emergencies, scheduling conflicts, or events beyond Slow Rise Pizza’s control
  • Participants are responsible to arrive on time. Slow Rise Pizza does not provide refunds or credits when a participant fails to attend the reserved class.
2.1 WAIVER: I understand that by registering for a class, I agree to release and hold harmless Slow Rize Pizza and its owner or employees, from any and all claims or liability related to any accident that may occur to myself or the person for whom I have purchased the service while attending or in the process of the service. I acknowledge that cooking includes the use of knives and other kitchen utensils and that the use of these includes risks or can cause or lead to injury. Further, in consideration of my ability to participate in Slow Rise Pizza events, I do hereby waive, release, indemnify and shall hold harmless Slow Rise Pizza and its owners, members, managers, officers, directors, chefs, employees, attorneys, agents, and assigns (collectively, the “Released Parties”), from and against any and all demands, claims, losses, injury, damages, liability, attorney fees, costs, and/or expenses of litigation, in law or in equity, whether known or unknown, that have arisen or may arise from my participation in or attendance the event or activities therein, or from my use of any recipe, skill, technique, or method learned from Slow Rise Pizza or in any of Slow Rise Pizza’s events. Further, I will not sue any of the Released Parties for such demands, claims, or liability.

2. Privacy

3.1 Purpose of this privacy notice

This privacy notice aims to give you information on how Slow Rise Pizza collects and processes your personal data through your registration for this event, where this data goes, what kinds of data is collected, for what purpose it is collected and how consent for data collection works. This website is not intended for children and we do not knowingly collect data relating to children.

This website may include links to third-party websites, plug-ins and applications. Clicking on those links or enabling those connections may allow third parties to collect or share data about you. We do not control these third-party websites and are not responsible for their privacy statements. When you leave our website, we encourage you to read the privacy notice of every website you visit

3.5 If you fail to provide personal data

Where we need to collect personal data by law, or under the terms of a contract we have with you and you fail to provide that data when requested, we may not be able to perform the contract we have or are trying to enter into with you (for example, to provide you with goods or services). In this case, we may have to cancel a product or service you have with us but we will notify you if this is the case at the time.

We use different methods to collect data from and about you including through: Direct interactions: You may give us your Contact Data by filling in forms or by corresponding with us by phone or email. This includes personal data you provide when you request marketing to be sent to you; enter a competition, promotion or survey; or give us some feedback; or Register for a class.
Automated technologies or interactions: As you interact with our website, we may automatically collect Technical Data about your equipment, browsing actions and patterns. We collect this personal data by using cookies, and other similar technologies. We may also receive Technical Data about you if you visit other websites employing our cookies.

We will only use your personal data when the US allows us to. Most commonly, we will use your personal data in the following circumstances: Where we need to perform the contract we are about to enter into or have entered into with you.
Where it is necessary for our legitimate interests and your interests and fundamental rights do not override those interests. Where we need to comply with a legal or regulatory obligation.
Generally we do not rely on consent as a legal basis for processing your personal data other than in relation to sending third party direct marketing communications to you via email or text message. You will receive marketing communications from us if you have requested information from us or you have registered for this event by filling out the registration form and agreeing to the terms and conditions and, in each case, you have not opted out of receiving that marketing. An opt out is considered when you expressly articulate to us that you do not wish to receive any more emails or contact from Slow Rise Pizza or third party members.
